Mini Chefs

Brianna the Chef
Recently we had a bit of a cooking extravaganza at my home.  The two cutest-and-culinariest-twin granddaughters were over and making food was the order of the day.  Tori and Brianna started by making some pretend cookies.  I "ate" more cookies than a person should, but they just kept supplying them, so what's a Germall to do?

After the humans were fed, the girls decided that the dogs should have specially made treats too.  I have a Weimaraner puppy at our home and the girls have a Rottweiler puppy at their home, so we found a recipe for healthy dog treats and set to work making it.  It had just 4 ingredients and was easy enough for little hands to help and feel involved with the process.  Here is the finished product, one box for each of the girls to take home.

             DOG TREATS

        1 cup peanut butter

        1 cup milk

        2 cups whole wheat flour

        1 teaspoon baking powder

Mix the peanut butter and milk.
Add the flour and baking powder.
Press mix in a pan to about 1/2 inch thick.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

I gave the girls explicit instructions that they were to give their dog, Mason, only one treat a day.  Do you think they will follow the rules?

DOUBTFUL!
