I Want To Buy This Camper!

Today we are traveling to attend the first birthday party of THE CUTEST BABY IN THE WORLD, my granddaughter Ellie.  I warn you, I will be taking thousands of many pictures, so you may be reading blogs about her for the next several years.  Just kidding.  Well sort of.  She is just so darn cute and funny these days.  How adorable is this:

This is the birthday outfit for the party girl.
On the way to the party, the husband/lover/best friend and I are stopping at Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown, Pennsylvania to look at The Camper Of Our Dreams.

It is a Cedar Creek Silverback Fifth Wheel, model 29RE.
I love camping.
I love looking at new campers.
I love this camper.
I want this camper.

Here are some pictures of the amazing awesomeness of this adventure on wheels:

There she is, in all her glory

A mighty fine layout, don't you think?
A view of the living area, and yes, that is a fireplace back there!
Looking toward the kitchen area
Kitchen, entrance, and steps to bathroom and bedroom
Yup, that's full indoor comfortable plumbing
Now there are a couple of problems with making this stop tomorrow to just look at this camper:

1.  Like I said, if I see it, I will want it.

2.  Drooling is socially unacceptable.

3.  I would need to also buy a new truck.

4.  My husband wants a new truck.

5.  The camper/truck purchase would cost a lot.

6.  I don't want to spend a lot.

7.  I don't want a loan, either.

8.  I like our current camper.

9.  Our current camper is fine.

10.  Our current camper is paid for.

So what's a girl to do?  I guess I'll go look at the camper.  Stay posted.

  1. I try not to be a looker because then I'm a 'wanter'.....its a gorgeous rig...wow...I will stay posted to see if you get it :)...enjoy the birthday..sweet outfit...can't wait to see pictures...of the party

  2. Nice open concept but don't see much storage. You're going to need a new truck along the way because you will wear out the present one, then it's trade-in time.

Kathy and I bought our present trailer 2011 at the end of June last year because the dealers wanted to bring in the 2012 stock so they'll really cut their prices. Watch because the auto dealers do the same around this time of year.

    It's about time.

  3. Thanks for the good advice, friends. We saw it today and it's beautiful, but I too was worried about storage, specifically a designated pantry. We have one in our current camper, and I would miss it if I didn't have it.

  4. Buy it...give me the old one. Rachel :)
