Good News!

I just simply want to share some great news with you all today.

It's been nearly eight weeks since my heel surgery, and approximately ten months since I've been able to wear any regular shoes.

Today, for the first time, I wore sneakers again.

On both feet.  Yes, even a sneaker on the surgified right foot.

I did one hour of physical therapy this morning, WEARING SNEAKERS, then had to put that foot back into the boot.

Although I'm feeling it now at the end of the day, and I really need get my foot elevated, I'm encouraged because this healing process is definitely going in the right direction.

Progress!  Yea!
