Two Little Princesses Are Back Home

Ready for their first flight ever
Grandtwins Tori and Brianna made some very special memories last week with their parents that will easily last their lifetimes.  They spent a week in Disneyworld, visiting the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot.  From all of the daily reports that came home to us while they were there, the trip far exceeded all of their wildest dreams.

Our daughter Rachel and SIL Eric were diligent to send home photos of their adventures each day so we could vicariously enjoy their trip with them. The entire rest of the family eagerly watched for photos and we had lots of fun sharing them among ourselves.

One of their most special experiences was an appointment at the Bippity Boppity Boutique in the Magic Kingdom.

In a wondrous beautification chamber, the girls had an appointment to be transformed into princesses.  Handmaidens worked on them from the tops of their heads all the way down to their toes.

Aren't they just so pretty?

For the rest of that day, all of the staff members in the park bowed down to these princesses as they passed by.  They were all acknowledging the presence of "royalty."  Not only that, all the bus drivers announced the arrival of the two princesses as they boarded.

I just think what they do at the Bippity Boppity Boutique offers such a great opportunity and is worth the price just to make these two little girls feel so special and good about themselves.  They will remember being a princess for the rest of their lives.

Later in that evening the family attended a special character dinner during which all the various princesses appeared and visited with the guests.  They finally had the chance to meet all the stars of their favorite Disney movies.

Although the "princess day" was a highlight, we are told that the girls loved the animals and activities in Animal Kingdom the most.  No surprise there - they've always been animal lovers.

Anyway, back home safe and sound, the girls were surprisingly anxious to get back to school.  They couldn't wait to tell their friends about their trip.

Oh, and I've heard since then that there may already be plans for another Disney trip in a few years.

Maybe next time I can tag along...

  1. What a great day for the grand-twins! They look like real princesses for sure and I know they felt like it just by looking at the smiles on their faces. What an experience!

  2. Its worth every penny...even if it is A LOT of pennies lol. The disney staff goes above and beyond treating these little princesses as if they are actual royalty. So happy we were able to do this for them. Rachel
